Can the Logitech H800 be connected to two devices at once?
It offers two connections — the USB nano receiver for the computer and Bluetooth for a mobile phone — and you switch from one to the other using the controls on the ear cup. On the Bluetooth side, however, it only connects to one device at a time.
What is the stated battery life of the H800?
Up to 6 hours of talk time on its rechargeable battery, charged via the USB charging cable supplied. Logitech specifies that actual battery life depends on usage, settings and conditions.
How far from the computer can you move with this headset?
Up to 12 m from the USB nano receiver plugged into the computer. Logitech notes that actual range varies with usage, settings and environment — partition walls, in particular.
Does the H800 fit easily into a bag?
Yes, it folds like a pair of sunglasses: that is what sets it apart from a fixed-desk headset and lets it follow its owner between the office and home.
What do this headset's laser-tuned drivers deliver?
Logitech pairs them with a built-in equaliser to deliver rich digital stereo, while the noise-cancelling microphone deals with background noise for the person you are talking to. The headset is aimed at music as much as at calls.
Can you adjust the volume without touching the computer?
Yes, the controls are on the ear cup: volume and device switching are handled directly on the headset, without going back to the screen. Logitech notes that some functions depend on the device or application used.
Does the headset stay comfortable for several hours?
The headband and ear cushions are padded, which Logitech highlights for long sessions. That is the point to watch on a folding headset: the hinge should not come at the expense of comfort.
