1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

What battery life does the JBL GO Essential 2 offer?
Up to 5 hours of playback on a charge, from a 2.7 Wh lithium-ion polymer battery that recharges in 2 hours 30 minutes. It is a speaker for an outing or an evening, not for a whole day away from a power socket.
How does the JBL GO Essential 2 charge?
Through a micro USB port, not USB-C: keep the original cable or make sure you have a micro USB cable, as the one for your recent phone will not fit. A full charge takes two and a half hours.
What can you expect from 3.1 W on a pocket speaker?
Mono sound covering 180 Hz to 20 kHz from a 40 mm driver. The range starts at 180 Hz: vocals and mid-range instruments come through well, but deep bass is not part of the deal in a housing this size.
Can the GO Essential 2 handle the pool and the beach?
Yes, it is IP67 certified: the 6 stands for complete protection against dust, and therefore sand, and the 7 for temporary immersion in water. The manufacturer explicitly presents it for use at the pool or in the park.
How much space does the JBL GO Essential 2 take up in a bag?
86 x 71.2 x 31.6 mm and 180 g: it fits in a jacket pocket or a backpack side pocket. It is the kind of size you take along without thinking about it, whether hiking or at the office.
Can it be left in the sun during the summer?
It is better to keep it in the shade: its operating temperature is rated at 45 °C. In the middle of the afternoon on a sun-exposed terrace, that limit is quickly reached — a shady spot is enough to stay within the intended conditions.
Which Bluetooth version does the GO Essential 2 use?
Bluetooth 4.2, with the A2DP 1.2 and AVRCP 1.5 profiles: stereo audio streaming and playback controls from your phone. A generation older than recent models, but compatible with all phones and tablets on the market.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. As its IP67 rating covers temporary immersion, rinsing it under clean water after a trip to the beach poses no risk to the speaker, sand included.
