Frequently asked questions about this product

How many devices can this Reyee router serve?

Up to 96 connected devices, with 32 recommended users. The first figure is a technical limit; the second reflects comfortable real-world use.

What Wi-Fi speed does this Reyee EW1300G router reach?

867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. 5 GHz is faster; 2.4 GHz reaches further and gets through walls better.

Does this router protect the network with WPA3?

Yes: it supports WPA3 security, the generation of Wi-Fi encryption that succeeds WPA2 and better resists dictionary attacks.

Can the coverage of this Reyee router be extended?

Yes: it is compatible with Reyee Mesh, up to 5 hops, with Layer 2 roaming — your phone moves from one node to another without dropping the connection. Router, access point, repeater and WISP modes are available.

Can this router isolate guests?

Yes: the guest Wi-Fi network is isolated, with bandwidth limiting. Guests get internet access without seeing the devices on the main network.

Can this router restrict children's access?

Yes: parental controls manage time schedules and per-device bandwidth limiting. So you can slow a device down rather than cut it off.

How much power does this Reyee router consume?

Less than 12 W. It is a device that stays on all the time: its annual consumption can be worked out from this figure.

Is this Reyee RG-EW1300G router new and under warranty?

Yes, it is a new Reyee product, with 5 foldable external antennas, 1 WAN port and 3 Gigabit LAN ports, and a built-in OpenVPN server and client. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for a period of 1 year. Datasheet: Reyee RG-EW1300G.
