Ruijie Reyee · Reference RG-EG710XS

The gateway for an entire site,
without a single fan.

Router, VPN server, guest portal and Reyee controller in a one-rack-unit chassis: it combines up to nine Internet connections and serves 700 concurrent users.

Nine Internet connections, used together

One WAN port and one LAN port are fixed; the other eight switch to WAN or LAN depending on the site. With several subscriptions, the router balances the load, fails over to another link when one drops and steers each application to the chosen exit. The two 10G SFP+ ports and the four 2.5 Gigabit ports connect switches and access points that go beyond gigabit.

Branch offices linked by VPN

WireGuard and IPsec connect up to 300 sites, at 1100 Mbit/s; L2TP, PPTP, OpenVPN and SD-WAN round out the offer. 700 VPN accounts also let remote staff join the company network.

Guest Wi-Fi for a hotel or a school

The captive portal, local or on Ruijie Cloud, opens access by password, SMS, QR code, voucher or RADIUS. URL filtering, ACLs and audit logs keep track of what goes through the connection.

One dashboard for the whole network

In controller mode, it manages up to 750 Reyee Wi-Fi access points and NBS switches, and 128 ES switches. Settings are made from the web interface, the Reyee app or Ruijie Cloud, and monitoring through SNMP.

Several Internet connections: plan one WAN port per subscription, taken from the eight configurable ports. The fixed LAN port stays reserved for the local network.

Silent and frugal

Cooled without a fan, it draws 14 W at most. The 440 x 210 mm chassis mounts in a 19-inch rack or sits on its feet, and its ports are protected against surges up to 6 kV.

Can several Internet connections be combined on the RG-EG710XS?
Yes, 8 of its 10 ports switch between LAN and WAN, for up to 9 Internet connections. Traffic is shared by flow, by source address or according to the weight given to each link, and moves to a backup line when the main one goes down. Routing can also follow the application or the link quality.
Which VPNs does the RG-EG710XS support?
