1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How much power does the Bosch L2800FD amplifier deliver?
2 × 1,400 W, and up to 4,400 W in bridged mode into 4 ohms, when the two channels are combined to drive a single load. That is the figure to keep in mind for a large-venue sound system.
Can the L2800FD amplifier handle a 2-ohm load?
Yes, Bosch states true stability into 2 ohms. This is what allows several loudspeakers to be wired in parallel on the same channel without sending the output stage into protection.
Do you need an external processor with this amplifier?
No: it has a built-in loudspeaker processor with FIR filters, a parametric equaliser and independent delay per channel. The system is tuned within the amp itself.
How is the Bosch L2800FD configured?
Through the SONICUE software, or directly on the front panel using the LC display, which also serves for local monitoring of the unit.
What are the benefits of the Class H output stage?
Higher efficiency than Class AB: the power supply tracks the signal level instead of dissipating the difference as heat. In practice, less heat to remove from the rack for the same power.
How is this amplifier cooled?
By three-speed fans, which adjust their speed to the load. An amp of this power should therefore not be installed in a closed rack without airflow.
What is the L2800FD protected against?
Against overheating, short circuits, inrush current and DC voltage at the output. The last of these is what destroys loudspeakers if the output stage fails.
How much rack space does the L2800FD take up?
483 × 462 mm and 88 mm high, i.e. a 2U rack format, and 16.2 kg. This weight calls for support rails, not just front-panel mounting.
What frequency range does the amplifier reproduce?
From 10 Hz to 21 kHz: the range covers the whole audible spectrum, including the deepest lows, which makes it suitable for full-range loudspeakers as well as subwoofers.
Is this Bosch L2800FD amplifier new and under warranty?
