3 years manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Is Windows preinstalled on the Dell Pro 16 Plus PB16250?
No. This model ships with FreeDOS, and therefore without Windows: on first start-up, you get a command-line environment. You will need your own operating system and its licence, or a Linux distribution. The hardware itself is complete and ready to use.
Is the keyboard on the Dell Pro 16 Plus backlit?
No, this configuration has an AZERTY keyboard without backlighting. That is the point to be aware of before buying if you often work in the evening, on a plane or in a dimly lit room. The touchpad, for its part, is a multi-touch precision model.
How good is the Core Ultra 7 266V in this Dell Pro 16 Plus?
The V series brings together Intel's most power-efficient mobile chips, tuned for battery life and quiet operation rather than raw power. This Core Ultra 7 266V also integrates an AI accelerator and the vPro platform, reserved for fleets managed by an IT department.

What is the actual resolution of the screen on this Dell Pro 16 Plus?
1920 × 1200 pixels, i.e. Full HD+ in 16:10 format — an extra vertical strip compared with a 16:9, handy in a spreadsheet or a long document. On a 16-inch diagonal, the pixel density remains moderate: this is an office panel, non-touch, not a photo-editing screen.
Can you connect an external monitor to this Dell Pro 16 Plus without an adapter?
Yes. The chassis offers an HDMI 2.1 output and two Thunderbolt 4 ports carrying DisplayPort 2.1: one monitor connects via HDMI, a second via USB-C. A USB-C docking station handles monitors, network and peripherals over a single cable.
Can the Dell Pro 16 Plus be charged via USB-C?
Yes. The supplied adapter is a 65 W USB Type-C unit and both Thunderbolt 4 ports support Power Delivery: a USB-C charger of equivalent power or a docking station can power the machine. Its battery is a 3-cell 55 Wh unit.
At 1.84 kg for a 16-inch laptop, is it portable for everyday use?
It is a 16-inch laptop for occasional travel, not an ultraportable: 1.84 kg carries easily from one meeting room to another, a little less so every day on public transport. The large screen and the full-size keyboard more than make up for this weight on a main workstation.
How good are the speakers on the Dell Pro 16 Plus?
Two 2 W stereo speakers, i.e. 4 W in total, with a Cirrus Logic codec for audio processing. They are tuned for voice: video conferencing, training videos, Teams calls. For music or a film, an external speaker or headphones remain preferable.
Can this Dell Pro 16 Plus be repaired if the USB-C port breaks?
Dell announces a modular, screw-mounted USB-C port on this range, a first on a business laptop: the connector is replaced like a spare part instead of requiring a motherboard replacement. The chassis is EPEAT Gold Climate+ and TCO 9th-generation certified.
