What battery life does the JBL GO 3 offer?
Up to 5 hours of playback depending on volume, from a 2.775 Wh battery (3.7 V / 750 mAh) recharged in 2 h 30 at 5 V / 1 A. It is a secondary speaker, for an outing or an evening.
Can the JBL GO 3 handle the beach and the pool?
Yes, it is IP67 certified: fully sealed against dust — and therefore sand — and protected against temporary immersion in water. This is the protection that sets it apart from pocket speakers that are merely splash-resistant.
Where can you hang the JBL GO 3?
By its built-in loop: on a backpack strap, a carabiner or a belt. At 209 g and 87.5 x 75 x 41.3 mm, it fits in a jacket pocket and you hardly notice carrying it.
How is the JBL GO 3 charged?
Via a USB-C port, in 2 h 30 at 5 V / 1 A. As this is the connector used by most current phones, a replacement cable is easy to find if you lose it.
Which Bluetooth version does the GO 3 use?
Bluetooth 5.1, with the A2DP 1.3 profile for audio streaming and AVRCP 1.6 for playback controls from the phone. Its coloured fabric covering stands up to rubbing better than a bare shell.
