Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Link 2C Pro follow your movements with a gimbal?
No: the 2-axis gimbal is fitted to the Link 2 Pro, not the 2C Pro. Here, tracking works by automatic zooming and cropping within the sensor's image, to keep a person or a group in view. The body itself does not move.
Does the 1/1.3-inch sensor really make a difference in low light?
Yes, it is the model's main selling point. A sensor this size gathers more light than a 1/2-inch one, which reduces noise in dark areas. Dual native ISO combined with HDR preserves both highlights and shadows at the same time.
Does the Link 2C Pro's DeskView mode switch on by itself?
No, the mount is adjusted by hand. On the Link 2C Pro, you tilt the mount towards the desk manually, then fine-tune the angle in Link Controller. It is the gimbal version that tilts towards the desktop by itself.
What field of view does the Insta360 Link 2C Pro cover?
83.9° diagonal and 71.4° horizontal, with an equivalent focal length of 24 mm and an aperture of F/1.9. A frame wide enough to stay fully in the picture, gestures included, without being cropped at the shoulders.
Which audio modes does the Link 2C Pro offer?
Four: Standard for everyday use, Wide for a meeting with several people, Focus, which prioritises the voice at about 1 metre in front of the device in a noisy place, and Original, with no noise reduction. They rely on two microphones and AI noise reduction.
How close can the Link 2C Pro focus?
From 12 cm to infinity, with phase-detection autofocus. Below 12 cm, the camera can no longer focus: that is the limit to know when showing an object in close-up in front of the lens.
Which resolutions does the Link 2C Pro support?
4K at up to 30 frames per second, 1080p and 720p at up to 60, in landscape as well as portrait, plus a 360p mode. H.264 is not supported in 4K portrait or in 1080p at 60 frames per second, where encoding switches to MJPEG.
How much does the Insta360 Link 2C Pro weigh and how is it mounted?
48.5 g without the magnetic mount, 113.5 g with it, in a 62.7 × 30.2 × 26 mm body. The magnetic mount attaches to a screen or a laptop, and its 1/4-inch mounting point takes an external tripod.
Can you change the background with the Link 2C Pro?
Yes, virtual background is one of its modes, alongside tracking, smart whiteboard and DeskView. Natural bokeh is also available, with the AI detecting people to adjust the depth of field in real time.
Is the Insta360 Link 2C Pro webcam new and under warranty?
New, in original Insta360 packaging, code 6970357859153. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. It connects via USB-C, with a USB-A adapter, and draws 5 V / 1 A.
