Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • On-screen image : the content visible on the screen is a composite: it represents neither the real picture quality nor any content supplied with the product.
  • Stand and mount : the shape of the stand changes between versions; wall mounts, arms and ceiling fixings are not included unless stated.
  • Connectors and sound : the number of HDMI, DisplayPort and USB ports, and the presence of speakers, a tuner or a network port, are read in the specifications.
  • Panel : bezels, curved format, touch, matte or glossy finish and refresh rate cannot be judged from a photo.
  • Accessories : remote control, cables, 3D glasses and projection screen are supplied only if the specifications say so.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is this Samsung 98-inch TV suitable for gaming?
Yes: it accepts 4K at 120 frames per second, with VRR and FreeSync Premium against screen tearing, and the ALLM automatic game mode, which switches on by itself as soon as a console starts up.
Do you need a set-top box to watch TV on this screen?
No: the receiver is built in. The TV receives channels directly, with no separate box to connect.
What does the Supersize Picture Enhancer bring to such a large screen?
It is AI-optimised processing, designed for very large screen sizes: it refines the enlarged picture, where simply stretching it would expose the source's lack of detail.
Does this TV's sound follow the action on screen?
Yes: Object Tracking Sound Lite moves the sound according to what is moving in the picture. Output power is 20 W.
Can this TV be paired with a soundbar?
Yes: with Q-Symphony, the TV's speakers and those of a compatible Samsung soundbar play together instead of one replacing the other.
What connectivity does this TV offer?
3 HDMI inputs, one of them eARC to send the sound back to an amplifier, 2 USB ports and an optical audio output. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in.
Can this TV control a smart home?
Yes: it comes with SmartThings, Samsung's smart home platform, and Bixby voice control. The interface is the One UI Tizen operating system.
Is this Samsung 98-inch DU9000 TV new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new Samsung product, reference UA98DU9000UXMV, in 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) with an LED panel and HDR10+ support. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year.
