1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is this Seagate SkyHawk 2 TB drive a new product?
No: it is a Factory Recertified model, refurbished and certified by Seagate, tested and declared compliant with the original specifications. It is not a new drive. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year.
Does this SkyHawk drive work with my recorder?
It connects via 6 Gb/s SATA, the interface used by most DVRs and NVRs on the market. Above all, check the form factor your recorder accepts: this is a 3.5-inch drive, which not all compact enclosures can take.
What does this drive's ImagePerfect firmware bring?
It is designed for smooth, stable recording of several simultaneous HD streams, where a desktop drive would drop frames under continuous writing. It is this firmware, more than the mechanics, that sets a video surveillance drive apart.
Does this drive support non-stop operation?
Yes, it is designed for continuous operation 24 hours a day. That is the fundamental difference from a desktop drive, which is sized for a few hours of activity a day: in a recorder, the mechanism never stops.
Is this drive suitable for a setup with several HD cameras?
Yes, it is presented as able to handle several HD camera streams in parallel, for a home, a shop or an office. It is writing several streams simultaneously that defeats an ordinary drive.
