Frequently asked questions about this product

Is 128 GB enough on an iPhone 16e?
For apps, messaging and a reasonably sized photo library, yes. The thing to plan for is 4K Dolby Vision video, by far what fills the storage fastest: it is best to offload long clips to a computer regularly.
Does the iPhone 16e take a physical SIM card?
No: it works with eSIM only, with no SIM tray to open. Your line is activated remotely with your carrier. So check that your carrier offers eSIM before ordering — that is the first thing to settle.
What is the Apple C1 modem in the iPhone 16e?
It is the Apple-designed cellular modem fitted to this model, which handles the 5G sub-6 GHz connection. It is listed among the device's connectors, alongside the USB-C port.
Does the iPhone 16e come with a charger?
No: the 20 W USB-C power adapter is sold separately. Plan for one if you do not already own one; otherwise, the phone will charge at the power of your current charger.
What battery life is quoted for the iPhone 16e?
Up to 26 hours of video playback — the figure measures continuous video playback, not a day of mixed use. That is four hours more than the standard iPhone 16, despite an identical form factor.
The iPhone 16e has only one rear camera: is that limiting?
Its single sensor is a 48 MP 2-in-1 Fusion camera: its resolution allows a lossless 2x digital telephoto, obtained by cropping the centre of the sensor. You therefore get two useful focal lengths. The front camera is a 12 MP TrueDepth.
What is inside the A18 chip of the iPhone 16e?
A 6-core CPU, a 5-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine — the same chip generation as the standard iPhone 16, with 8 GB of RAM.
Is the iPhone 16e new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document you will be asked for when making a warranty claim.
