Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the iPhone 17 Pro come with its power adapter?
No: the 20 W USB-C power adapter is sold separately. So plan to buy one if you do not already own one; otherwise, the phone will charge at the power of your current charger. Any sufficiently powerful USB-C adapter will do.
What battery life is quoted for the iPhone 17 Pro?
Up to 37 hours of video playback — a specific measurement, not to be confused with a day of mixed use. That is ten hours less than the Max version, the gap reflecting the difference in size between the two models.
Is the iPhone 17 Pro's USB-C port fast?
Very: it is Thunderbolt 3, i.e. up to 40 Gbps. With ProRes RAW 4K at 120 fps footage — the heaviest files the device produces — it makes the difference between a transfer of a few minutes and an endless wait.
