Can the memory be upgraded?
No: the 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 is soldered to the motherboard, with no free slot. That is the price of the slim profile — 16.7 mm — and of this memory's bandwidth. You therefore need to choose the capacity at purchase: 32 GB covers 4K editing and most creative uses.
Can you add a second SSD?
Yes. The 1 TB SSD occupies the M.2 2242 slot, which is PCIe 5.0 x4, and a second M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot is free. You can therefore double the storage without replacing the original drive — useful when video footage piles up.
