1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can you add more RAM?
Yes. The machine has two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and the 8 GB supplied fits on a single module: the second slot remains free. Access is by removing the bottom cover.
Can you install a second SSD?
Yes. In addition to the 512 GB M.2 2280 SSD, the motherboard offers an M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot. It takes a short SSD to double the storage, for example to separate the system from company data.
Is Windows installed?
No. The ExpertBook B1 ships without an operating system. This is the format IT departments want when they deploy their own image; for a ready-to-use workstation, a Windows 11 licence can be ordered separately.
Can you connect an external display and charge it via USB-C?
Yes. The two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports carry video and charging (Power Delivery), and an HDMI 1.4 port adds a further display output. The AC adapter supplied is itself USB-C, 65 W.
Is the keyboard backlit?
Yes. It is a backlit chiclet keyboard with a North African layout, easy to read in a dark meeting room or on the move. The 720p webcam next to it has a physical privacy shutter.
Does it cope well with travel?
Yes. It weighs 1.41 kg, is 19.7 mm thick and meets the US military standard MIL-STD 810H. A carrying bag is supplied in the box, along with the USB-C AC adapter.
