A 15.3-inch OLED panel in a 12.9 mm aluminium chassis: this ThinkPad is made for people who work on long documents or several windows side by side, without wanting to carry a workstation.
A true image straight out of the box
Every panel is factory-calibrated with an X-Rite tool. The OLED delivers a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and stays readable at an 85° angle on each side, which matters when you turn the screen towards someone. It plays Dolby Vision content, and its coating reduces both reflections and fingerprints. With 2880 x 1800 pixels on 15.3 inches, the density reaches 222 pixels per inch: text stays sharp without enlarging the display.
A keyboard and touchpad for the whole day
The six-row keyboard offers 1.35 mm of key travel (1.2 mm on the function-key row), is spill-resistant and has LED backlighting. Below it, a buttonless 80 x 135 mm glass touchpad supports Windows precision gestures.
Security that asks nothing of you
Fingerprint matching takes place inside the chip of the reader built into the power button. The BIOS accepts certificate-based or FIDO key authentication, and uses separate passwords to protect power-on, the NVMe SSD and system administration. It all relies on a discrete TPM 2.0 chip certified FIPS 140-2.

This ThinkPad does not support a pen and has no smart card reader, no NFC and no cellular connection. For a wired network, use a USB-C to Ethernet adapter or a docking station.

Can more RAM be added later?
No. The 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 is soldered to the system board and cannot be replaced: it is the platform's maximum. Storage, however, can be upgraded: the single M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 slot accepts an SSD of up to 2 TB in place of the original 1 TB drive.
How many external monitors can be connected?
Two, in addition to the built-in screen. The laptop drives up to three independent displays: the internal OLED, one monitor on the HDMI 2.1 port (up to 4K at 60 Hz) and another over Thunderbolt 4, which goes up to 8K at 60 Hz. A Thunderbolt or USB-C dock makes connecting at the desk easier.
How good is the OLED screen for photo and video?
It is its strong point. The 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED panel covers 100% of DCI-P3, delivers 500 nits, carries the DisplayHDR True Black 600 label and is X-Rite calibrated at the factory. Its refresh rate varies from 30 to 120 Hz to keep scrolling smooth while saving battery.
Is there an Ethernet network port?
No, there is no built-in RJ45 port in this 12.9 mm chassis. For a wired network, use a USB-C to Ethernet adapter or a Thunderbolt dock. Wireless connectivity is Wi-Fi 7 (Intel BE201) with Bluetooth 5.4.
How can it be unlocked without a password?
With your face or your fingerprint. The 8 MP infrared camera handles Windows Hello facial recognition, and a fingerprint reader is built into the power button. A ToF presence sensor locks the screen when you walk away, and an electronic shutter turns the camera off.
What is the processor's NPU for?
To run AI on the machine itself. The Core Ultra 7 258V includes an Intel AI Boost NPU rated at 47 TOPS: it is a Copilot+ PC that runs Windows 11 AI features locally (captions, video call effects, search) without loading the processor or draining the battery.
