Frequently asked questions about this product

Which cord should you order with this Jabra Biz 1500 QD?
A Jabra Link connecting cord: Jabra lists the Link 180, 230, 260, 265 and 280 for its QD headsets. The QD connector cannot be plugged into USB or a jack without it, so it is the accessory to plan for at the same time as the headset.
What is the difference between the QD version and the USB version of the Biz 1500?
The USB version includes a call controller and digital signal processing that the QD version lacks, with a wider speaker frequency range. On the other hand, the QD connects to a desk phone, which the USB version does not.
Why choose the mono version of this headset?
Because it leaves one ear free: at reception or on the switchboard, you can hear your team and the office while staying on the line. It is rated at 88 g including the cord, against 115 g for the duo version.
Does the Biz 1500 work with my desk phone?
Jabra states that its contact centre headsets are compatible with more than 10,000 desk phone models, as well as with the softphones and platforms of the field — Cisco, Avaya, Genesys Cloud. The QD cord chosen determines compatibility.
Is the mic boom likely to break with use?
It is flexible and can be rotated through 270° without risk of breaking — this is precisely Jabra's selling point for contact centres, where the headset is repositioned several times a day and by several agents.
What is the Air Shock microphone on the Biz 1500?
It is the noise-cancelling microphone that reduces background noise and heavy breathing sounds, the ones that are most disruptive in close conversation. In return, HD Voice technology makes the incoming voice sound more natural.
Does this headset protect the ear from sound peaks?
Yes, PeakStop technology protects against unexpected level peaks, on all versions of the Biz 1500. The ear cushions are made of foam, chosen to keep ears cool over a full day.
Can this headset be rolled out across a whole floor of agents?
Yes, Jabra Xpress lets you configure all of the company's audio equipment from a central point. The Biz 1500 is presented as the range designed for budget-conscious contact centres.
Is this Jabra Biz 1500 QD Mono new and under warranty?
