Do you have to do anything to change line?
No: multi-device connectivity links the computer, the desk phone and the smartphone, and you switch from one call to another without any fiddling. That is what sets a Savi base apart from a simple dongle.
Does the link hold up when several headsets are used together?
Yes, Poly states a secure, interference-free DECT link — the point that often holds back the roll-out of wireless on a large call floor.
What range and battery life can you promise an agent?
180 m of range and 13 hours of talk time: enough to last the whole day away from your desk, without going back to the base.
Does the headband hold up over long call sessions?
It is explicitly designed for long call sessions: on a stereo headset worn all day, it is where the headband rests that determines real comfort, even before weight.
Does the microphone filter out open-plan office chatter?
Yes, it is noise-cancelling: it shuts out background chatter so the person you are talking to hears only your voice. The two earpieces, for their part, isolate you so you can concentrate.
