It mounts on the wall like a picture frame and shows your photos behind an interchangeable panel. Six speakers, two of them woofers, deliver 120 W in Dolby Atmos, and music arrives over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or AirPlay.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can you really put your own photo in the Samsung Music Frame?
Yes: a picture mat is supplied and takes a printed photo of 203 x 254 mm, of which 188 x 188 mm remain visible. An interchangeable panel also lets you display an artwork — frame and art panel are sold separately.
How is the Music Frame's 120 W sound built?
Around six front-firing speakers, including two woofers, for spatial sound in Dolby Atmos. A useful point: spatial sound requires Dolby Atmos source content; otherwise, playback remains conventional stereo.
Can the Music Frame complement a TV's sound?
Yes, via Q-Symphony: with a compatible Samsung TV, the speaker plays at the same time as the TV's speakers instead of replacing them. An optical input also allows a conventional wired connection.
How do you mount the Samsung Music Frame?
On the wall or on a piece of furniture: the wall mount and the stand are both supplied. This is what lets you install it like a hanging picture frame or as an object standing on a console table, depending on the room.
Which wireless sources does the Music Frame accept?
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay, plus Chromecast and Spotify Connect. The Tap Sound feature even lets you start playback simply by bringing your phone close to the speaker.
Does the Music Frame adapt to the room's acoustics?
Yes, thanks to SpaceFit Sound, which calibrates the sound to the room where the speaker is installed. A voice amplifier also keeps dialogue audible when ambient noise rises, which is useful for films and series.
Can you use it late at night without disturbing anyone?
Yes: a night mode reduces the level differences between loud and quiet passages. Three other modes — adaptive sound, music and standard — let you adjust the sound to the content being played.
How do you adjust the settings of the Samsung Music Frame?
From the SmartThings app for installation and settings, and — with a compatible Samsung TV — directly with the TV remote control. The speaker runs on mains power, with no battery: it stays in place.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. Plan where it will go before ordering: it is a mains-powered living-room speaker, to hang or to stand, not a portable model.
