How much power does the nJoy Keen 2000 UPS deliver and what can it power?
It delivers 2000 VA / 1200 W. Enough to protect a complete workstation, several monitors, a till/point of sale or a small server. Check the combined consumption of your equipment to stay within this limit.
How much battery runtime does the Keen 2000 offer during a power cut?
Runtime is deliberately short, designed to let you save your work and shut down properly: about 13 min at 25% load, 4 min at 50% (600 W) and 1 min at 75%. This is not a UPS made for working for long periods without power.
Does the nJoy Keen 2000 UPS regulate the mains voltage?
Yes: line-interactive technology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR). It corrects voltage drops and surges (input range 162 to 290 V) without drawing on the battery, for a stable power supply.
What waveform does the Keen 2000 UPS deliver?
It produces a simulated sine wave (not a pure sine wave). It suits PCs, monitors and network equipment; for highly sensitive equipment, check its compatibility with a simulated wave.
How many outlets does the nJoy Keen 2000 UPS offer?
It offers 4 Schuko outlets (French earthed type) on battery/backup, plus 2 RJ11/45 ports providing surge protection for the modem/telephone/network line.
Does the Keen 2000 UPS have an LCD screen?
No: it has no LCD screen. Status is shown by LED indicators and an audible alarm (mains mode, battery mode, charge level, faults).
Can you set up an automatic PC shutdown with the Keen 2000?
Yes: via the USB (HID) port and the PowerMonitor software, the UPS can trigger an automatic, clean shutdown of the computer during an extended power cut.
Is the nJoy Keen 2000 UPS battery replaceable?
Yes: it houses 2 internal GP09122L batteries (12 V / 9 Ah), which are replaceable (see the accessories tab). Recharge time is about 6 hours to 90% capacity.
Does the UPS switch over quickly during a power cut?
Yes: the typical transfer time is 4 ms. It also offers automatic restart when power returns and a cold start function.
Is the Keen 2000 UPS noisy and heavy?
Its noise level stays below 40 dB. It is a tower model weighing about 10.6 kg, measuring 298 x 148 x 178 mm.
