In how many ways can this DW Office ML be worn?
Three: with a headband, an ear hook or a neckband. All three wearing options come with the headset, and each user chooses their own — a real concern when several agents share a workstation.
What is in the box of the Impact DW Office ML?
The DECT base and its power supply, a USB cable, an audio cable, ear tips, the ear hook and the headband. It all fits in a 165 × 165 × 165 mm package.
Does this headset work with a desk phone and a PC?
Yes, with both: the base connects to the desk phone as well as to the computer or softphone. The two cables required, USB and audio, are supplied with the base.
What is the wireless range around the base?
Up to 180 m with no obstacles. Inside a building, partitions reduce this distance, but it still leaves plenty of room to leave your desk and fetch a file without interrupting the call.
How long does the headset last on standby, and does it charge quickly?
100 hours on standby and 1 hour for a full recharge. Placed back on its base between calls, the headset is therefore always ready, and a forgotten charge is made up in an hour.
Which telephony systems is this headset certified with?
With Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, Mitel, Unify, Swyx, Citrix and Microsoft Skype for Business — most of the business phone systems installed in SMEs and call centres.
Does the microphone filter out open-plan office noise?
Yes, it is noise-cancelling: it eliminates surrounding noise and transmits only your voice. The headset reproduces 150 to 6,800 Hz and supports both audio modes, narrowband and wideband.
50 g: how can a wireless headset be so light?
Because it is mono, with an open driver, resting on the ear: no closed ear cup or second earpiece to wear. The base handles the link; the headset carries only its earpiece and its battery.
Is this EPOS Impact DW Office ML new and under warranty?
