How are the 160 W of the JBL PartyBox Club 120 produced?
By two 133 mm woofers and two 57 mm tweeters, for 160 W RMS measured to IEC 60268 over a range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB). The signal-to-noise ratio is above 80 dB, and AI Sound Boost keeps distortion in check as the volume rises.
What battery life and charging time does the PartyBox Club 120 White offer?
Up to 12 hours of playback, depending on the volume and the content played, on a 34 Wh JBL BATTERY200 (7.2 V / 4,722 mAh). A full recharge takes 3.5 hours, with the speaker switched off, and 10 minutes is enough to get back 80 minutes of music.
Is the battery of this PartyBox Club 120 swappable?
Yes: it comes out and is replaced so you can start again on twelve hours of music and lights without waiting for a recharge. The extra battery pack is sold separately, worth planning for if your parties run over several days.
Can you plug a microphone and a guitar into the Club 120 White?
Yes, it has microphone and guitar inputs, with a karaoke EQ setting and a light show that follows the beat. Input sensitivity is 20 mV RMS for the microphone, 100 mV RMS for the guitar and 370 mV RMS on the 3.5 mm aux jack.
Does the speaker play music from a USB flash drive?
Yes: a drive formatted in FAT16 or FAT32 is played directly, in MP3, WAV, WMA and FLAC formats. The same port also works as a charging output, up to 5 V / 2.1 A, when the speaker is switched off.
What does the IPX4 rating of the PartyBox Club 120 cover?
Splashes and light rain from any direction: a party in the park or by the sea is not a problem. The X indicates that dust resistance has not been rated, and the rating covers no immersion.
How much does the Club 120 weigh, and how do you carry it?
11.05 kg net for 288.4 x 570 x 297 mm — 14.1 kg in its packaging. A folding handle and a body designed to spread the weight let you carry it from a room to the garden, with both hands over a long distance.
Can two PartyBox Club 120 speakers be paired?
Yes: two units pair in stereo to widen the soundstage, and several Auracast-compatible PartyBox speakers link wirelessly for large events. Pairing is controlled from the JBL PartyBox app.
What does the JBL PartyBox app let you do on this model?
Add interactive sound effects, adjust the EQ and customise the colours and patterns of the light show — stars, trails and strobes. Everything is controlled remotely, without going back to the speaker between tracks.
What is in the box of the PartyBox Club 120 White?
The speaker, a 2 m power cord (100-240 V, plug according to region), the quick start guide and the warranty and safety card. A microphone and an instrument then connect to the inputs provided, depending on the equipment you have.
