A turntable fitted with an RIAA preamp plugs into the RCA input, alongside the 3.5 mm jack and wireless. A 50 W amp for the bass and two 15 W ones for the treble give volume to a large room.

Product overview

The brown Stanmore III showcases the Marshall sound with a 50 W Class D amplifier dedicated to the woofer and two 15 W amps for the treble, 80 W in total. Bluetooth 5.2 and the 3.5 mm jack input cover every source, while its three analogue knobs (volume, bass, treble) let you fine-tune the sound by hand. Frequently asked questions about this product

Can two phones stay connected to the Marshall Stanmore III?
Yes, two Bluetooth devices stay connected at the same time — with one rule to know: while the first one is playing, the second one cannot start playback. The first one must be paused for the other to take over.
Can a turntable be connected to the Stanmore III?
Yes, via its RCA input (left and right) at the back. One technical condition: the turntable must have a RIAA preamp, built-in or external. Neither the RCA cable nor the preamp is supplied with the speaker.
Why does the Stanmore III disconnect on its own?
That is its automatic standby: after 10 minutes of inactivity, it switches to standby to save energy, which disconnects the linked Bluetooth device. Pressing any control on the top, or playing through a physical input, wakes it up.
How are the Stanmore III's 80 W distributed?
Across three Class D amplifiers: 50 W for the woofer and 2 x 15 W for the tweeters, angled outwards to widen the sound dispersion. The analogue volume, bass and treble knobs remain on top, just like on an amp.
What can be controlled directly on the speaker?
All the essentials: source selection (Bluetooth, AUX, RCA), volume, bass, treble, play and pause, next or previous track, and even fast forward with a long press. The Marshall Bluetooth app duplicates these controls, but it is not essential.
Is the power cable supplied with the Stanmore III?
Yes, the power cord comes with the speaker: plug it into the back and then into the wall socket, and the speaker is ready. The audio cables, on the other hand, must be provided according to the source you plan to connect by cable.
How do you reset the Stanmore III if there is a problem?
Two useful steps: if it stops responding, unplug it for 15 seconds and then plug it back in. For a factory reset, hold down the media control for more than 10 seconds, then remove the speaker from the phone's Bluetooth list before pairing it again.
How much space does the Marshall Stanmore III take up on a piece of furniture?
350 x 203 x 188 mm: the size of a small guitar amp, to be placed on a sideboard, a sturdy shelf or a desk. Its design is PVC-free and includes 70% recycled plastic.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
