The Hollyland Solidcom SE 5S brings five stations together on a single full-duplex channel: the whole team talks simultaneously, with no waiting and no button to hold down. The system needs no base station and pairs within seconds on the 2.4 GHz band. Dual-mic ENC noise reduction extracts the voice from on-set noise, and Push-to-Talk mode remains available so you only speak when it matters. The headsets offer 12 hours of battery life and withstand splashes of water. A system tailored for large crews on film shoots, in control rooms or in event production.

How many users does this Solidcom SE 5S connect?
Five: one master headset and four remote headsets, all on the same full-duplex channel. Everyone speaks and hears at the same time, with no button to hold down and no need to take turns.
Does this system need a base station to work?
No: the system works without a base station. The headsets are paired at the factory and communicate directly on the 2.4 GHz band, which removes the need for a unit to install and power on set.
What is the range between two headsets on a shoot?
Up to 350 m line of sight, indoors and outdoors alike. Automatic frequency hopping switches channel in case of interference, which stabilises the link on a site crowded with radio signals.
What battery life do the master and remote headsets offer?
12 hours for a remote headset and 10 hours for the master headset when it is running four headsets — it is the one doing the most work. Recharging takes under 3 hours.
Can you keep shooting when a battery runs flat?
Yes: the batteries are removable — five 770 mAh packs come with the system — and the headsets can also be charged via USB-C, from a power bank if needed. A 6-slot charging base is supplied.
Does the noise reduction work at a festival or in a control room?
That is exactly what it is designed for: dual-microphone ENC noise suppression filters out the surroundings to transmit only the voice, even in a crowd that is singing or a lively meeting. The transmitted band ranges from 150 Hz to 7 kHz.
Can you mute your microphone quickly during a take?
Yes, in two ways: by raising the mic boom, or with the lock function that toggles between mute and talk with a single press. A Push-to-Talk mode is also available, so you only speak when you choose to.
Can these headsets withstand rain and sweat?
They resist water splashes thanks to an internal protective coating that shields the components from sweat and moisture. The manufacturer specifies that they are not fully waterproof: they can take rain, but not immersion.
Can the wear parts be changed?
Yes: the ear cushions and the microphone cushions are replaceable. The latter matter as much as the former — a worn microphone cushion degrades sound pickup and increases noise.
Can you connect an external 3.5 mm jack microphone?
Yes: the headset's USB-C port accepts a 3.5 mm microphone via a USB-C to TRS cable. This opens it up to microphones other than the one mounted on the boom.
Is this Hollyland Solidcom SE 5S new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original Hollyland packaging: five headsets, five battery packs, the six-slot charging base, the USB cable and the manual. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year.
