This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

What are the 400 W of the JBL PartyBox 520 worth?
400 W RMS measured to IEC 60268, delivered by two 208 mm woofers and two 25 mm dome tweeters, from 40 Hz to 20 kHz with a signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB. AI Sound Boost processing keeps distortion in check as the volume rises.
How long does the PartyBox 520 play without being plugged in?
Up to 15 hours, depending on volume and content played, on a JBL BATTERY 600 of 99.02 Wh (21.6 V / 4,584 mAh). Allow 3 hours for a full charge with the speaker switched off, and 10 minutes of charging gives about 2 hours of playback.
Can the PartyBox 520 battery be swapped?
Yes, the battery is replaceable: you swap it to get another fifteen hours of music without waiting for a recharge. The extra battery pack is sold separately, worth planning for events that run over two days.
What can you plug into the two XLR inputs of the PartyBox 520?
A microphone, a guitar or a DJ console: the speaker becomes a small PA system, karaoke included. Input sensitivity is 20 mV RMS for the microphone and 100 mV RMS for guitar or line, with a 3.5 mm auxiliary input at 250 mV RMS.
Does the USB-C port on the PartyBox 520 play music from a USB flash drive?
It serves mainly as a digital audio input for a phone or a computer, streaming and karaoke included, and as a charging output of up to 20 V / 1.5 A with Power Delivery. Playing files from a flash drive, however, is not supported in the EMEA region, which covers the Moroccan market.
How do you move the 25.5 kg JBL PartyBox 520?
By rolling it: a telescopic handle and wide wheels mean you do not have to carry it. The stated size is 415 x 769 x 369 mm for 25.5 kg net, 29.4 kg packaged. One person is enough on flat ground; plan on two people for stairs or a car boot.
Can you take it out onto a terrace or next to a swimming pool?
Yes, it is rated IPX4: splashes, a knocked-over glass and light rain will not stop it, from any angle. The X indicates that dust resistance has not been rated, and this rating does not cover any immersion.
Can two JBL PartyBox 520 speakers be linked together?
Yes: two units pair in true stereo via Auracast, and other compatible JBL speakers can join the wireless playback to cover a larger area. Handy when the room is long or the crowd spills out into the garden.
Can two phones stay paired at the same time?
Yes, multipoint connection keeps two devices connected simultaneously: each one takes control of the music in turn. At a party, this avoids disconnecting and re-pairing every time a guest wants to play a track.
Do you have to stay next to the PartyBox 520 to adjust the sound and lights?
No. The JBL PartyBox app controls the music, the equaliser and the light show remotely: light patterns and strobe effects can be set from the dance floor. The speaker can therefore stay in place for the whole party.
What is in the box of the JBL PartyBox 520?
The speaker, a 2 m mains cord (100-240 V, with the plug varying by region), the quick start guide and the warranty and safety card. Microphones, instruments and a console are then connected to the XLR inputs according to your equipment.
