The AT2020USB-XP takes the sound of the AT2020 studio microphone and brings it to USB-C, with built-in digital processing. It is aimed at streamers, podcasters, musicians and remote work: you plug it in and set everything on the microphone, with no software.

Room noise, set on the microphone
A switch sets noise reduction to three levels, or turns it off, depending on the room you record in. Automatic gain control, which can be enabled separately, keeps a constant output level whether you speak softly or loudly. The microphone's indicators show the current setting. The cardioid electret capsule captures from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and the converter goes up to 24 bits and 192 kHz.
Hear yourself with no delay
Headphones plug into the microphone's 3.5 mm jack, whose amplifier delivers 110 mW into 32 ohms: you hear your voice with zero latency, at the volume set on the knob. The mix control balances the microphone sound and the computer sound. A tap on the touch button mutes the microphone, and the light ring turns from blue to red.
Everything for the desk in the box
The desk stand gives a stable base, the pop filter clips onto the front of the grille, and a 5/8"-27 thread adapter lets you screw the microphone onto a stand or an arm. The 2 m USB cable and its USB-C adapter connect it to a USB-A port as well as a USB-C port, under Windows 10 and 11 or macOS.

Do I need software to set up the AT2020USB-XP?
No. Noise reduction, automatic gain control, headphone volume, mix and mute are all set on the microphone body, and the light ring shows the status. An optional Audio-Technica plug-in for Elgato Stream Deck lets you control these functions from the console.
