Does the Evolve 40 have active noise cancellation?
No, its noise reduction is passive: simply wearing the headset blocks out high-frequency sounds, such as human voices, thanks to the design of the ear cushions. Jabra points to the Evolve 80 for active noise cancellation.
Can the Evolve 40 be connected to a smartphone or tablet?
Yes, it has a 3.5 mm jack designed for this, in addition to its USB controller for the computer. The headset therefore follows the user from one device to another, for calls and music alike.
How is the Evolve 40 cable split?
Into two sections: 120 cm between the headset and the controller, then 95 cm from the controller to the connector. The control unit thus sits within easy reach rather than right next to the computer.
Can the busylight be switched on manually?
Yes. It lights up automatically as soon as you are on a call, but you can also switch it on yourself to show that you do not wish to be disturbed, even when you are not on a call.
Does this headset have a battery to recharge?
