Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Staging : microphone stand, boom arm, pop filter, mounts and ambient speakers photographed are not included unless stated.
  • Quantity : the number of speakers or channels visible in the image does not necessarily match the set sold.
  • Cables and tips : the cables, adapters, ear tips and cases supplied are those listed in the specifications.
  • Specifications : Bluetooth, jack socket, USB, noise cancellation and battery life cannot be read from a photo.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is this Voyager Surround 80 Microsoft Teams certified?
Yes, this reference is the Microsoft Teams certified version, supplied with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. The certification guarantees that the call controls work properly with the Teams client.
Does this headset have a mic boom?
No, and that is the whole idea: ten built-in microphones replace the boom, four of them dedicated to adaptive active noise cancellation. Nothing sticks out in front of your face on video calls.
Does the headset answer calls by itself when you put it on?
Yes, smart sensors trigger call answering: the headset reacts to being worn. The other controls are touch-sensitive, directly on the ear cup.
What is the battery life of the Voyager Surround 80?
21 h of talk time and 24 h of music: two separate figures, the first being the one that matters for professional use. A full charge takes just one hour.
Can it be used wired if the battery is flat?
Yes, it has a 3.5 mm jack input for wired listening. That connection takes over without interrupting the working day, something many wireless headsets lack.
How does the headset connect to the computer and the mobile?
Via Bluetooth 5.3, with a USB-C to USB-A adapter supplied for the computer and a direct link on the smartphone side. Two devices stay connected at the same time, up to 30 m away.
How does carbon fibre change the way this headset wears?
It lightens the structure: Poly combines carbon fibre, ultra-soft on-ear cushions and an adjustable padded headband for lightweight all-day wear, on a headset weighing 275 g.
Does the noise cancellation adapt to the environment?
Yes, it is described as adaptive: it adjusts its processing to the actual noise in the room, relying on four of the headset's ten microphones, rather than applying constant attenuation.
Is this POLY Voyager Surround 80 new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original Poly packaging, with its carrying case and its USB-C/A adapter. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year on this reference.
