Frequently asked questions about this product
Does this headset work both wired and wireless?
Yes, that is its dual use: wired USB or Bluetooth via the pre-paired USB-A adapter, with a direct link to your smartphone alongside. Two devices stay connected at the same time.
Is the charging stand included with this version?
Yes, it comes with its charging stand: you set the headset on it at the end of the day, without plugging in a cable. A carrying case completes the set.
What is this Evolve2 55's real battery life?
10 h of talk time with noise cancellation and the busylight on, and up to 18 h of listening when they are off. Go by the first figure: it reflects how a workstation is really used.
How long does the headset take to recharge?
2 hours for a full charge, on the supplied stand or via the headset's USB port. The stand makes it effortless: set the headset down and it charges.
Which audio codecs does this headset support?
AAC and SBC. AAC is the codec used by Apple devices and most music services: it is what allows this professional headset to handle some listening between meetings too.
How many microphones are on the boom?
Two noise-cancelling microphones that filter out background chatter so that only your voice is transmitted. The headset also features active noise cancellation for what you yourself hear.
At 130 g, is it comfortable for a hybrid working day?
The Jabra Air Comfort headband is designed to ease pressure on the ears, in a 130 g on-ear design. A carrying case is included for the trips between office and home.
How far can you move away from your desk?
Up to 30 m over Bluetooth 5.2, with two devices connected simultaneously. Meanwhile, the busylight shows your colleagues that you are on a call.
Is this wired and wireless Evolve2 55 new and under warranty?
Yes, new and sealed in its Jabra packaging, with the stand and case included. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year. PeakStop and SafeTone hearing protection is built in.
Wired stereo headset for contact centres and offices, in a UC version certified for Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco and Unify: three MEMS microphones, Busylight indicator and a Link control unit that plugs into USB-C or USB-A.
Up to 35 h of conversation and 30 m of range. Three microphones isolate your voice from office noise, the oval memory foam cushions filter out what surrounds you, and the busy indicator stays visible from every angle.
One ear stays free during the call: four mics and NoiseBlockAI filter out chatter and wind. 10 h of talk time, 30 h with the included wireless charging case, and a USB-C dongle for the computer.
Up to 30 m of Bluetooth range, 16 h of talk time and a simultaneous connection to the computer and the smartphone. In an open-plan office, the Busylight indicator turns red as soon as you are on a call.
Two microphones share the work in a contact centre: one erases the background noise, the other conveys your voice. Built-in call control unit, busylight and real-time call analysis with the Engage+ software.
Built for heavy contact-centre use: Kevlar-reinforced cord, a 360° rotating boom arm that will not break and an Air Shock noise-cancelling microphone. A control unit handles volume, mute and calls.
4 microphones and Acoustic Fence technology for a clear voice in open-plan offices, with earcups that surround the ear to help you focus. Wireless and stereo, 50 m range and 24 h of talk time.
The DECT USB adapter plugs in with no installation and reaches up to 150 m. 13 h of talk time, a replaceable battery and a dual microphone that removes background noise.
