Yes, the hybrid digital ANC can be set to three levels: you choose the attenuation depending on whether you are in a meeting room, an open-plan office or on a train, instead of putting up with a single setting.
What is the Acoustic Fence on the mic boom?
A virtual barrier set up in front of the mouth: the microphone picks up only what is inside this zone and leaves out the rest. The person you are talking to hears a conversation, not an open-plan office.
Does this headset work on a workstation without a USB-C port?
Yes, a USB-C to USB-A adapter cable is supplied in addition to the USB-C adapter: the headset can therefore connect to any workstation, and directly to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
Does the headset stay comfortable from morning to evening?
Its headband is padded and its ear cushions soft — the two contact points that determine real comfort, and which count twice over on a noise-cancelling headset, where the fit determines the isolation.
