Can you use the headset while it is charging?

Yes: simply plug in the USB cable to charge the headset while you use it. A full charge takes 120 minutes at most, and rated standby time reaches 15 days.

Can you connect the computer and the mobile at the same time?

Yes. Jabra’s FAQ confirms it: the headset connects to a computer with the Jabra Link 380 adapter while staying connected to a mobile. Rated range is up to 30 m.

What happens to the mic boom when you are not on a call?

It is hinged and clips onto the headband: stowed away, it disappears from your field of view and the headset becomes a pair of headphones again. It is a feature specific to the Evolve 65.

Can the busylight be switched on manually?

Yes: it lights up during calls but can also be switched on by hand to show that you are working, even when you are not on a call. It is the “do not disturb” sign of the shared office.

How much does this headset weigh, depending on the version?

79 g in mono and 111 g in stereo: two separate figures, depending on the number of ear cups. It is worn on-ear, with faux leather ear cushions.

Does the headset block out office noise?

Through passive noise reduction: it is the design of the ear cushions that forms the barrier, with no electronic processing. The microphone, for its part, is noise-cancelling and works for the person you are talking to.
