Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the charging stand included with this Evolve2 75?
Yes, this is the part number with charging stand: the desk stand is part of the kit, whereas the generic contents for the range list it “depending on the part number”.
What is the real-world battery life of this headset?
24 h of talk time with neither ANC nor the busylight on, 18 h with both switched on, and 36 h of music. Go by the 18 hours: that is what a real workstation setup looks like.
Does the headset know when you take it off your head?
Yes, the Evolve2 75 has wear detection: it knows whether it is being worn or resting on its stand. That is what lets it react automatically when you take it off in the middle of a meeting.
Can the active noise cancellation be adjusted on this model?
Yes, Jabra Advanced ANC can be adjusted from the Sound+ app. Conversely, HearThrough mode lets outside sounds in so you can answer a colleague without taking the headset off.
How many microphones does this headset use?
Eight: four analogue MEMS and four digital, working with beamforming to focus on your voice. Four of them are used by the active noise cancellation.
Can the mic boom be stowed away on this headset?
Yes, it is retractable and made of metal: pushed back in, it disappears into the ear cup and the headset becomes an ordinary pair of headphones again, which matters when it follows its owner out of the office.
How long does the battery take to recharge?
160 minutes for a full charge, with 30% in 35 minutes and 60% in 70 minutes. Fifteen minutes of charging is also enough to get back 4 hours of battery life.
How do you connect the headset to the computer and the smartphone?
The supplied Jabra Link 380 Bluetooth adapter is already paired: plug it in and the headset is recognised. The smartphone connects in parallel — two devices connected at the same time, up to 30 m.
Is this headset also good for listening to music?
Its 40 mm speakers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz in music mode, compared with 100 Hz to 8 kHz in voice mode, with AAC and SBC codecs. The 36 hours of music playback point the same way.
At 197 g, is it comfortable for a whole day?
The ear cushions are made of faux leather with dual-density foam, an exclusive Jabra design, and the headband gets an ultra-soft foam. The headset is rated at 197 g in an on-ear design.
How does this headset protect your hearing?
With PeakStop and Jabra SafeTone, in line with the European directive on noise at work and the G616 recommendation against unexpected acoustic shock.
