How big is the Galaxy Z Fold 6 once folded?
Folded, it measures 153.5 × 68.1 × 12.1 mm — the width of a conventional phone, but twice as thick. Unfolded, it opens out to 153.5 × 132.6 mm and is only 5.6 mm thick, with a 7.6-inch panel.
Is the S Pen supplied with the Galaxy Z Fold 6?
No: the device is S Pen compatible, but the stylus is sold separately. Bear this in mind if you were planning to annotate or draw on the large 7.6-inch panel — the feature is there, but the accessory has to be bought.
Can you use the Galaxy Z Fold 6 without unfolding it?
Yes: it has a 6.3-inch outer screen, the size of a conventional phone. Calls, messages, browsing and photos can therefore all be done without opening the device — leaving the large 7.6-inch panel for the uses that deserve it.
Where is the Galaxy Z Fold 6's inner camera?
Under the screen, and therefore invisible: the 4 MP sensor is hidden by the pixels of the main panel, which let light through when the picture is taken. Nothing interrupts the display when you read or watch a video unfolded.
How much space is actually free on the Galaxy Z Fold 6?
229.2 GB of the 256 GB advertised, with the system and preinstalled apps taking up the difference. This is the figure to bear in mind if you plan to make the most of the large screen with video content stored on the device.
Can the Galaxy Z Fold 6 replace a laptop?
That is the intended use: it supports Samsung DeX, which displays a windowed virtual desktop on an external screen, with a keyboard and mouse. Its 7.6-inch inner panel can already show several apps side by side.
How good are the Galaxy Z Fold 6's rear cameras?
A stabilised 50 MP f/1.8 wide-angle, a 12 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide and a 10 MP f/2.4 telephoto offering true 3x optical zoom, complemented by an optical-quality 2x from the adaptive sensor.
Is a 4,400 mAh battery enough on a foldable?
It is the trade-off for a body just 5.6 mm thick unfolded, which leaves little room inside. In practice, the 6.3-inch outer screen helps: checking a notification or making a call without opening the phone avoids switching on the large 7.6-inch panel.
Does the Galaxy Z Fold 6 take two lines?
Yes, in three configurations: two physical nano-SIMs, one nano-SIM plus one eSIM, or two eSIMs. The foldable format therefore imposes no restriction on this point, unlike other devices of the same type.
What is the Galaxy Z Fold 6's body made of?
An Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the outer faces. The whole device weighs 239 g — the price to pay for two screens, a hinge and a triple camera module in a single device.
