Where can you hang the JBL Clip 4?
Anywhere its carabiner built into the body will go: a bag strap, a belt loop, handlebars, a tent pole. It is part of the speaker itself, so there is nothing to fit or to lose.
What battery life does the JBL Clip 4 claim?
10 hours of listening per charge, with a full recharge in 3 hours via the USB-C port. Enough to cover a day's hiking or a whole evening without looking for a socket.
Can the Clip 4 handle water and dust?
Yes, it is IP67 certified: the 6 indicates it is fully dust-tight, and therefore sand-tight, and the 7 indicates protection against temporary immersion. The pool, the beach or a campsite are all within its intended use.
What can you get from a 5 W, 239-gram speaker?
Close-range listening: bathroom, tent, bike handlebars, a corner of the desk. It fits in one hand and slips into a bag pocket — it is a speaker to keep you company, not a party speaker.
What is the JBL Clip 4 made of?
It has a fabric covering, a material that stands up to rubbing in a backpack and to sand better than a bare plastic shell. The carabiner, for its part, is built directly into the speaker's structure.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. It charges via USB-C: a recent phone's cable is enough to power it up again if the original goes missing.
