What battery life does the black JBL Tune 670NC offer?
44 hours with noise cancelling on, 70 hours without it. Go by the 44 hours: that is the mode in which you really use an ANC headphone. And 5 minutes of charging gives back 3 hours.
Does the noise cancelling adjust by itself?
Yes, it is adaptive: the headphones measure ambient noise and correct continuously, rather than applying a fixed setting. Moving from an office to a busy street requires no action on your part.
How can you hear an announcement without taking the headphones off?
With the Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes: the first lets outside sounds back in, the second lowers the music and brings voices forward, long enough to exchange a few words.
How much do these headphones weigh, and do they fold?
174 g, and they fold flat. They are on-ear headphones — the cushions rest on the ear — with 32 mm drivers: a format made for the daily commute.
Can you listen with these headphones when the battery is flat?
Yes, a detachable jack cable comes with the headphones: listening continues without battery power, or on a device without Bluetooth. Being detachable, it can be replaced if it ever fails.
What is the VoiceAware feature for during a call?
It feeds your own voice back into the headphones. Under headphones that cut out ambient noise, you lose the natural feedback of your voice and speak too loudly: this feature restores that cue.
Can you keep two devices connected at the same time?
Yes, the multipoint connection keeps the computer and the phone paired together: an incoming call takes over without having to re-pair or open the settings.
