What battery life do these headphones offer, depending on the mode?
44 hours with noise cancelling switched on, 70 hours without it. Go by the 44 hours: that is the mode you really use ANC headphones in. And 5 minutes of charging give you 3 hours.
Can you listen to these headphones without the battery?
Yes, a detachable jack cable comes with the headphones: listening carries on with a flat battery, or on a source without Bluetooth. As it detaches, it can be replaced separately from the headphones.
