By two 52 mm full-range drivers, 8 W each, in a 2.0 stereo configuration, backed by dual passive radiators that extend the bass. The frequency range runs from 80 Hz to 18 kHz.
Can the Urban Box 3 play without a phone?
Yes: a USB flash drive or a microSD card up to 64 GB, in MP3 and WAV, with a folder skip function and a shuffle mode as a bonus, both controlled from the speaker. A 3.5 mm jack input also accepts a wired source.
What battery life and charging does the Urban Box 3 offer?
12 hours of playback on a 2,000 mAh lithium-ion battery, recharged in 2 hours via a USB Type-C port. A full day of music, topped up again over a lunch break.
Is the Urban Box 3's fabric covering vulnerable to water?
It is rated splash-resistant: a passing shower or splashes by a pool are no cause for concern. The fabric also stands up to rubbing in a backpack better than a bare plastic shell.
Can you pair two Urban Box 3 speakers for stereo?
Yes, with the True Wireless Stereo function: the two speakers synchronise and split the channels between them, which doubles the sound output. A simple way to expand your setup later without changing model.
Can you answer a call with the Urban Box 3?
