Yes: it plays MP3 and WAV files from a microSD card or a USB flash drive up to 64 GB. A 3.5 mm jack auxiliary input also lets you connect a wired source, such as a player or a computer.
What lighting does the Urban Box Supernova Black offer?
RGB lighting with several light sequences that follow the rhythm of the music. This is what turns the speaker into a party accessory rather than just a portable speaker.
What is the Bluetooth range of this speaker?
Up to 20 metres over Class 2 Bluetooth 5.1, with the SBC codec that all devices recognise. The HFP and HSP profiles also let you take hands-free calls.
What does the IPX4 rating of the Urban Box Supernova protect?
Its fabric is rated resistant to water splashes from any direction. The X indicates that dust resistance has not been rated: the speaker can handle rain, but not immersion.
How long does the Urban Box Supernova play?
12 hours per charge, from a 2,000 mAh battery that fully charges in 2 hours via USB Type-C. Charging is therefore faster than on many speakers of this size.
Can you double the sound with a second speaker?
Yes, the True Wireless Stereo function pairs two Urban Box Supernova speakers: each takes one channel and the sound output doubles. An upgrade you can make later, without replacing the speaker you already have.
What size and weight is this speaker?
