How long does the JBL Charge 5 play on one charge?
Up to 20 hours, depending on the volume and type of music, with a full recharge in 4 hours. A day at the beach followed by an evening therefore fits on a single charge, without stopping at a socket in between.
Which port is used to charge a phone from the Charge 5?
A USB-A port, dedicated to the power bank function: you plug the phone's cable into it while the music keeps playing. The speaker's own charging cable is USB Type-C, supplied in the box.
How are this speaker's 40 W produced?
By three elements: a long-excursion woofer, a separate tweeter for the highs, and two bass radiators at the ends of the cylinder. It is these passive diaphragms that deliver audible bass in this format.
Can the Charge 5 handle sand and water?
