1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is Windows preinstalled on the HP ProBook 4 G1iR 16?
No. It comes with FreeDOS, without Windows: you will need to install an operating system and its licence, or a Linux distribution. The hardware, on the other hand, is complete — AZERTY keyboard with numeric keypad, fingerprint reader, network port — and ready for the operating system of your choice.
What does the “U” in the Core 5 120U of this 16-inch ProBook mean?
The U denotes Intel's low-power variant, designed for battery life and quiet operation. With 10 cores and 12 threads up to 5.0 GHz, this Core 5 120U easily handles office work, web browsing and video conferencing at the same time; 3D rendering or heavy video editing call for an H-series chip.
Does this ProBook 16 have a numeric keypad?
Yes, the 16-inch format frees up room for a full numeric keypad to the right of the AZERTY keyboard. The keyboard is also backlit and rated as spill-resistant — a real advantage for accounting entry or stock management, where the keypad saves time.
Does this HP ProBook 4 G1iR 16 have an RJ-45 Ethernet port?
Yes, a Gigabit RJ-45 port is built into the chassis: the network cable plugs straight in, with no USB adapter to carry around or forget. Useful in a business on a wired network, or when the room's Wi-Fi is saturated by the number of connected devices.
How do you charge this ProBook 16, and what can its USB-C ports do?
The supplied adapter is a 45 W USB Type-C unit. Both USB-C ports reach 20 Gbps and combine power (Power Delivery 3.0), display output (DisplayPort 1.4) and HP Sleep and Charge, which charges a phone even when the laptop is in sleep mode.
Is the panel on this ProBook 16 suitable for photo or video work?
Not really. The 16-inch WUXGA 1920 × 1200 anti-glare IPS screen reaches 300 nits but covers only 62.5% of the sRGB space: very comfortable for spreadsheets and two windows side by side, too limited as soon as colour accuracy matters.
At 1.74 kg for a 16-inch laptop, is it still portable?
Yes, for occasional travel. Allow for 1.74 kg and a 35.94 × 25.1 cm chassis 1.7 cm thick: you need a 16-inch bag, but the whole remains reasonable. Its compact 45 W USB-C charger fits in a side pocket of the bag.
Is this ProBook 16 equipped for video conferencing?
Yes. It combines a Full HD 1080p webcam, two stereo speakers tuned by Poly Studio and dual-array microphones that favour the voice in front of them. Enough to hold a meeting without a headset, even in a shared office.
How do you sign in to this ProBook without typing a password?
With the fingerprint reader built into the chassis: once the operating system is installed and your fingerprint enrolled, placing a finger opens the session. A useful safeguard for a machine that moves between the office, the meeting room and home.
Is the HP ProBook 4 G1iR 16 new and under warranty?
