Does the Evolve2 30 SE connect via USB-C or USB-A?
Both: this part number comes with the USB-C/A adapter, so it can move from a recent laptop to an older desktop PC. The headset is recognised as soon as it is plugged in, with no installation.

Stainless steel, combined with faux leather and PC and ABS plastics. That is what lets a 125 g headset withstand daily use without giving way the first time it is shoved roughly into a bag.
Does the headset block out open-plan office noise?
Its memory foam ear cushions provide sound isolation, and the angled ear cups follow the shape of the ear to keep noise out. The attenuation therefore comes from the fit, not from electronic processing.
Can you answer calls and mute the mic from the cable?
Yes, a call control unit is built into the cable: answering calls, muting the microphone and volume are at your fingertips, without going back to the meeting software window.
Is the Evolve2 30 SE also good for listening to music?
Its 28 mm speakers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz in music mode, compared with 100 Hz to 12 kHz in voice mode, with a sensitivity of 115 dB. The frequency response opens up as soon as the headset leaves the call.
