This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Are the batteries of the JBL PartyBox 720 supplied with the speaker?
No, and this is the point to know before ordering: the PartyBox 720 runs on mains power and accepts two JBL BATTERY 600 packs (Li-ion, 99.02 Wh each) sold separately. Without them, you need a socket within reach of the 2 m cable.
How many hours of partying do the two JBL Battery 600 packs provide?
Up to 15 hours, depending on volume and the content played. Charging them takes 3 hours, with the speaker switched off. Both packs are needed to reach this runtime: it is the pair of Battery 600 packs that powers the speaker away from any socket.
What can you plug into the two XLR inputs of the PartyBox 720?
A microphone, a guitar or a DJ console: both XLR inputs accept all three. Sensitivity is 20 mV RMS for a microphone and 100 mV RMS for guitar or line, and a 3.5 mm jack auxiliary input (250 mV RMS) completes the set.
What is the USB-C port of the JBL PartyBox 720 for?
For two things. It receives sound from a phone or computer in digital quality, for streaming as well as karaoke. And it charges a device: the output goes up to 20 V / 1.5 A with Power Delivery (5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 15 V/2 A), with PPS support.
What do the 800 W RMS of the PartyBox 720 add compared with a smaller speaker?
Two 243 mm woofers and two 30 mm dome tweeters, for a range that goes down to 32 Hz and up to 20 kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB. The 800 W are measured to IEC 60268: this is event sound reinforcement, not a secondary speaker.
How do you move a 31 kg speaker like the PartyBox 720?
By rolling it: wide wheels that cope with rough ground and an integrated ergonomic handle. Allow for 416 x 942 x 406 mm and 31 kg — and 34.9 kg in its 491 x 1027 x 468 mm packaging. Plan on two people to load it into a vehicle or lift it up a step.
Can you take the PartyBox 720 out by a swimming pool?
Yes, it is rated IPX4 splash-resistant: splashes and light rain will not stop it, whatever the angle. The X means that dust resistance has not been rated, and the rating does not cover any immersion.
Can two PartyBox 720 speakers play together?
Yes: two units pair in stereo for a wider soundstage, and other JBL Auracast-compatible speakers can join the wireless stream. Coverage is extended this way without multiplying sources or cables.
Do you have to stay near the PartyBox 720 to adjust the sound and lights?
No. The JBL PartyBox app controls the music, the EQ and the light show remotely. You stay in control from the dance floor or the bar, without crossing the room between two tracks.
What is in the JBL PartyBox 720 box?
The speaker, the 2 m power cord (the number and type of plugs varying by region), a quick start guide and the warranty and safety card. Batteries, microphones and instruments are chosen separately according to your use.
Which Bluetooth version does the PartyBox 720 use?
Bluetooth 5.4, with the A2DP 1.4 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles: stereo audio streaming on one side, playback control from the phone on the other. The transmitter operates in the 2.4 - 2.4835 GHz band, at 18 dBm maximum.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
