Is the microphone included with the JBL PartyBox On-The-Go 2?
Yes: karaoke is ready straight out of the box. A wireless digital microphone with built-in echo effect comes with the speaker, along with its holder and a shoulder strap. No accessory is needed to sing, and the app then adds voice settings.
How far from the speaker does the wireless microphone work?
Up to 30 m between the microphone and the speaker. The link uses a dedicated 2.4 GHz radio, separate from Bluetooth, which remains available for music, and the microphone covers the 50 Hz - 15 kHz band, the range of the voice.
What is the Smart Key Change feature of the PartyBox On-The-Go 2 for?
It transposes the song into your key from the JBL PartyBox app: no more hunting for a karaoke version that suits your voice. Combined with the microphone's built-in echo, it rescues passages out of your range without altering the original track.
What battery life does the JBL PartyBox On-The-Go 2 offer?
Up to 15 hours of playback on a charge, depending on the volume and content played, from a 34 Wh lithium-ion battery. A full recharge takes less than 3.5 hours with the speaker switched off, and 10 minutes of charging gives 80 minutes of music.
Can you keep the party going beyond 15 hours?
Yes, by inserting a spare battery, which doubles the listening time. It is sold separately: it is the accessory to plan for professional use or an event running over two days without access to a power outlet.
What can you connect by cable to the PartyBox On-The-Go 2?
An auxiliary input and a USB-C port that receives audio from a phone or a computer. Playing files from a USB flash drive, however, is not supported on models intended for the EMEA region, which includes the Moroccan market.
Can the speaker charge a phone?
Yes: the USB charging output delivers 11 V / 2 A maximum. It works with the speaker switched off, which makes it an end-of-party fallback rather than a continuous power supply for the phone playing the music.
How do you carry the JBL PartyBox On-The-Go 2?
On the shoulder or by hand: the wide, thick shoulder strap is included, and the central handle balances the whole thing. It weighs 6.36 kg for 501 x 258 x 221 mm — the format of a party speaker you carry on foot to the beach.
What does 100 W of sound deliver on this portable speaker?
100 W RMS measured to IEC 60268, produced by a 135 mm woofer and two 20 mm silk dome tweeters, over a range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB). A level cut out for a terrace, a garden or a medium-sized room.
Can it withstand rain and splashes at a party by the water?
Yes, it is rated IPX4: splashes from any direction and a passing shower do not bother it. The X indicates that dust resistance has not been rated, and this rating rules out any immersion.
Can two PartyBox On-The-Go 2 speakers be paired to cover a wider area?
Yes: two units pair in stereo to widen the soundstage, and several Auracast-compatible JBL speakers connect wirelessly for large gatherings. Bluetooth 5.4 supports the TMAP and PBP profiles needed for this broadcast.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
