This product is covered for 2 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

No, unlike the F4-425 Plus: the 4 SATA bays are the only storage area, with no SSD cache or independent NVMe volume possible.

Single disk, RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD and TerraMaster's proprietary TRAID — RAID 5/6, which is more fault-tolerant, is reserved for the Plus models and above.
How long does it take to replace a drive in the F4-425?
Less than 10 seconds, thanks to the tool-free push-lock tray, which clips the drive into place automatically on insertion.
Can the F4-425 memory be expanded?
Yes, it comes with 4 GB of DDR4 in its single SODIMM slot, expandable up to 16 GB.
Is the F4-425 quiet?
Yes, 21 dB(A) in standby with 2 drives installed (measured at 1 m), despite a larger fan (120 mm) than the F2-425.
Can the F4-425 be used for video surveillance?
Yes, TerraMaster's Surveillance Manager connects several ONVIF-compatible IP cameras for centralised management and automatic recording to the NAS.
