Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Capacity : the capacity printed on the product photographed illustrates the range; the one sold is that of the title and the specifications.
  • Format and interface : 2.5 or 3.5 inch, SATA, NVMe M.2, with or without a heatsink: the photo is not enough to tell.
  • Drives not supplied : external enclosures, docking stations and NAS servers ship without a drive, unless explicitly stated.
  • Accessories : cables, adapters, caddies and screws are supplied only if the specifications say so.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

2 years warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

2 years manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 2 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What does the F4-425 Plus offer over the F4-425?
An aluminium enclosure, dual 5 GbE network ports and 3 M.2 NVMe slots in addition to the 4 bays, with an N150 processor and 16 GB of DDR5, versus 4 GB of DDR4 on the standard model.
Do the M.2 slots replace the hard drive bays on the F4-425 Plus?
No, they come in addition to the 4 bays: they serve as an SSD cache to speed up the hard drives, or as a separate NVMe RAID volume (up to 8 TB per module) for the data that needs the most speed.
What memory and processor does the F4-425 Plus have?
A quad-core Intel N150 clocked at up to 3.6 GHz, with 16 GB of DDR5 preinstalled, expandable up to 32 GB.
Does the F4-425 Plus include hard drives?
No, hard drives and M.2 modules are ordered separately, depending on the storage capacity and speed you need.
What is the maximum capacity of the F4-425 Plus?
Up to 144 TB in total: 4 × 30 TB hard drives in the SATA bays and 3 × 8 TB M.2 NVMe SSDs.
What do the dual 5 GbE network ports of the F4-425 Plus bring?
Port bonding and SMB Multichannel deliver sequential write speeds of up to 1,010 MB/s, for a multi-user office or for video editing straight from the NAS.
Which RAID modes does the F4-425 Plus support?
RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10, plus TerraMaster's proprietary TRAID/TRAID+ — the standard F4-425, by contrast, is limited to RAID 0/1/JBOD.
Can the F4-425 Plus transcode 8K video?
Yes, its N150 processor handles hardware video transcoding up to 8K, around 25% faster than the previous-generation N95.
What connectivity is on the back of the F4-425 Plus?
An HDMI output, 2 × 5 GbE network ports, 3 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port, all at 10 Gbps.
