Professional UPS, convertible between rack and tower: line-interactive with voltage regulation, 2200 VA / 1980 W and an LCD display.
Technology & protection: it switches to battery the instant the power cuts out, absorbs surges and continuously corrects voltage fluctuations without drawing on the battery.
Power: 2200 VA for 1980 W of usable output — several servers or networking equipment.
Outlets: 8 C13 outlets + 2 heavy-duty C19 outlets for power-hungry equipment.
Convertible rack or tower form factor; runtime can be extended with an additional battery pack.

How long does the Smart-UPS X 2200 run on battery?
25 minutes at 50% load, i.e. 990 W, and 16 minutes at 70%, i.e. 1386 W. Runtime can be extended with additional battery packs, and recharging takes 3 hours.
How much rack height does this Smart-UPS X 2200 take up?
4U — 178 mm — with a width of 483 mm, a depth of 432 mm and a weight of 38.6 kg. It trades height for a moderate depth: the opposite of the usual compromise, which helps it fit into shallow rack cabinets.
How can a line-interactive UPS offer 1980 W from 2200 VA?
Its power factor of 0.9 turns almost all of the apparent power into watts. A desktop UPS at 0.54 would offer only 1190 W for the same rated power.
Can the Smart-UPS X 2200 be plugged into a wall socket?
Yes: the input accepts a C20, Schuko or British connection, with a 1.83 m cord. No hardwiring and no electrician needed for a UPS of this power.
What outlets does the UPS have on the output side?
Eight C13 outlets and two heavy-duty 16 A C19 outlets. The rack-mounting hardware, a USB cable and an RS-232 cable come with the unit.
What voltage range does the Smart-UPS X 2200 accept?
140 to 280 V — a window considerably wider than the average for this category. On a grid that frequently sags, the AVR corrects the voltage without drawing on the battery.
What does the UPS show during a power cut?
Two interfaces: an illuminated display with four indicators — on-line, on battery, replace battery, overload — and a more detailed multifunction LCD console, with alarms on configurable delays.
Is the APC Smart-UPS X 2200 new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document, for 2 years. It delivers a pure sine wave, is rated at 55 dBA, and a SmartSlot accepts an optional network card. The datasheet covers the rest.
