Frequently asked questions about this product

What is the real-world battery life of the Evolve2 75?
Four figures for two uses: talk time 24 h without ANC or busylight, 18 h with both; music 36 h without ANC, 33 h with it. Go by the lower figures: they are the ones that match real-world use.
How long does it take to recharge this headset?
160 minutes for a full charge, with 30% reached in 35 minutes and 60% in 70 minutes. Wired charging is via USB-C, with the 1.2 m cable included.
Does the headset detect when you take it off?
Yes, the Evolve2 75 has wear detection: it knows whether it is on your head or lying on the desk. This is what lets the headset react automatically when you take it off in the middle of a meeting.
How many microphones does the Evolve2 75 use?
Eight: four analogue MEMS and four digital. Four of them are used by Jabra Advanced ANC noise cancellation, while the others pick up the voice on the retractable boom.
Can you hear what is going on around you without taking the headset off?
Yes, thanks to HearThrough mode, which lets outside sounds in on demand. Conversely, active noise cancellation closes the bubble again when you need to concentrate.
How does the headset connect to the computer and the phone?
Through the Jabra Link 380 Bluetooth adapter supplied in USB-A, and over direct Bluetooth 5.2 on the smartphone side. The headset remembers 8 devices, keeps 2 connected at the same time, at up to 30 m.
Which audio codecs does this headset support?
AAC and SBC. AAC is the codec used by Apple devices and most music services: it is what allows this professional headset to handle music listening as well.
Is the Evolve2 75 also suitable for music?
Its 40 mm drivers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz in music mode, compared with 100 Hz to 8 kHz in voice mode: the frequency response opens up markedly as soon as the headset leaves the call.
At 197 g, is it comfortable over a whole day?
The ear cushions are made of faux leather with dual-density foam, an exclusive Jabra design, and the headband has matching ultra-soft foam. The headset is stated at 197 g, in an on-ear design.
How does this headset protect your hearing?
