Does the wireless HyperX Cloud III really last 120 hours?
Up to 120 hours per charge, with a full recharge taking 4 h 30 min. With one evening of gaming a day, that means plugging the headset in roughly once a month.
Which machines does this headset work with?
PC, PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, over a 2.4 GHz wireless connection with a range of up to 20 metres — enough to move away from the console without losing the sound.
What is in the box with this wireless headset?
Six items: the headset, the detachable microphone, the wireless dongle, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, a USB charging cable and the guide. The adapter covers machines without a free USB-C port.
How can you tell the mic is muted?
An LED indicator shows it. The boom mic is detachable, noise-cancelling and protected by a mesh filter that absorbs plosives; volume and mute are controlled directly on the ear cup.
What do the 53 mm angled drivers bring?
They are angled towards the ear canal rather than lying flat, which helps you place sounds in space. DTS Headphone:X 2.0 completes this positioning with spatial processing.
Can this headset stand up to being carried around?
Its frame combines aluminium and steel, which makes all the difference on the part that breaks first — the headband. It weighs 330 g, with over-ear memory foam cushions.
Does this headset actively cancel room noise?
No: the advertised noise cancellation applies to the microphone, and affects what your teammates hear. Your own isolation remains passive, provided by the cushions that enclose your ears.
