Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the charging stand included with this reference?
Yes, this reference is supplied with its charging stand: you set the headset on it between calls, with no cable to plug in. A carrying case comes with the set.
Can you leave your desk and stay on the call?
Up to 50 m of wireless range: you stay on the call while fetching a file or joining a colleague at the other end of the floor. That is the main practical difference from a wired headset.
What battery life can you promise an agent handling back-to-back calls?
24 hours of talk time. What is quoted is genuinely talk time, not mere standby time. A full charge takes 1 h 36 min.
How do you get through the day if the battery is flat?
The headset switches to USB wired mode: the conversation continues over the USB connection instead of the wireless link. Poly presents this mode, together with the charging stand, as the way to extend talk time.
How does Acoustic Fence help in a call centre?
It is the processing that reduces unwanted noise around the microphone: built into the boom, it focuses sound pick-up on your voice and leaves out the bustle of the floor. The person you are talking to hears a conversation, not an open-plan office.
A single ear cup: who is it for?
Because it leaves one ear free: at reception or on the switchboard, you can hear your team and visitors while staying on the call. The ear cushion is on-ear, resting on the ear.
Does the headset also work with a mobile phone?
Yes, the headset connects directly via Bluetooth to the phone, in addition to the dongle plugged into the computer. It supports the hands-free and A2DP profiles, so calls and music alike.
Is this mono headset light enough to wear all day?
122 g, in an on-ear design — the cushions rest on the ear rather than around it. A carrying case is supplied for travel.
Is this POLY Voyager 4310 Teams new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original Poly packaging, stand included. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year on this reference. This is the Microsoft Teams certified version.
