Is the charging stand included with this Evolve2 55?
Yes, this version comes with its charging stand: you set the headset on it at the end of the day, without plugging in a cable. Not every model in the Evolve2 55 range includes one.
What is the Evolve2 55's real battery life?
10 h of talk time with noise cancellation and the busylight on, 16 h without ANC, and up to 18 h of listening with ANC and the busylight off. Go by the first figure: it reflects how a workstation is really used.
How long does the headset take to recharge?
2 hours for a full charge, on the supplied stand or via the headset's USB port. The stand makes it effortless: set the headset down and it charges.
Do you need to pair the headset with the computer?
No, the supplied USB adapter is already paired: plug it in and the headset is recognised, with no setup at all. Your smartphone connects alongside over Bluetooth 5.2.
How many microphones are on this headset's boom?
Two noise-cancelling microphones on the boom: they filter out background chatter so the person you are talking to hears only your voice. The microphone can also be muted directly from the headset.
What is the Jabra Air Comfort technology in this headband?
A headband lined with perforated foam that eases pressure on the ears, paired with ear cups designed for long days. The headset is rated at 130 g in an on-ear design.
Which audio codecs does this headset support?
AAC and SBC. AAC is the codec used by Apple devices and most music services: it is what allows this professional headset to handle music listening too.
