What does a boom “qualified for open offices” mean?
That the microphone, with the boom lowered, has passed Microsoft's most demanding test for suppressing surrounding conversations. Three digital MEMS microphones take care of this: the person you are talking to hears your conversation, not the office floor.
How does the headset connect to the computer and the phone?
Through the supplied Jabra Link 380 Bluetooth adapter, already paired, on the computer side, and via direct Bluetooth on the smartphone side. Two devices stay connected at the same time, with a range of up to 30 m.
